Hikes where scenic. The lookout is excellent. -

(February 28, 2018, 7:57 pm)Great place with an even greater guide. The paths were well labeled and the view from the top was spectacular! I went here Fall of 2017, so I didn’t experience the summer mosquitos other reviewers mentioned. Have a lot of fun memories here! Would definitely go again.

(July 12, 2016, 5:09 am)Bring your own water. We took a group of Cub Scouts to this place and I, for one, loved the location. There's plenty of trails, the interpretive center is cozy with a nice fireplace that heats up the large space with ease. The Cubs had a great time. Lots of opportunity to see nature. BUT. Bring your own water. The water from the well has what I imagine to be the taste of granite if you were able to eat it; which is to say that while the water is potable, it is not palatable.
