Cardinal KOA was one of the best "resort style" campgrounds we have stayed at in our 50 years of camping. It's no Algonquin! But it's not meant to be. We stayed 3 days with our 4 grandkids (aged 14m to 9yrs) and we had a ball! Waterside, beautiful pool, hayrides, chip wagon and pizza shop. Beautifully maintained with friendly staff. We have nothing but good things to say, oh maybe the water supply tasted a bit off, but I'd say the same about the city of Guelph...Overall 5 stars. Good job folks!

Took our 3 kids there over the weekend and it was so fun! This is the perfect spot to bring your kids camping if you want them dead tired by 8pm. Bouncy water slide (5$ for 3 hours), mini put (3$ per person), heating inground pool, couple of park, splash park, big bouncy pillows, bingo, ice cream social (3$ per person), hay ride. Kids had a blast! This place is full of RVs, we were one of very few tents. If you like to bike, bring them, lots of kids ridding their bikes. There is also a fenced in dog park. Definitely recommend this place.

Very nice campground with lots of activities for the kids!! Only small downside was that the chip stand was only open on Fridays and closed on Saturdays. Aside from that had a great weekend!! Would definitely recommend for any family looking for a kid friendly campground.

This was our second time coming to Cardinal and we will be back for sure!!!! We had an excellent experience both times! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dan (the owner) is a great guy! He loves the kids and always makes sure there is tons of things for them to do. He is proud of his camp grounds and he should be! It’s always clean and well maintained. Thank you for another great experience ????

We vacationed at the Cardinal KOA and before we had left, we had another two weekends booked for the summer. The activities for the family were endless, amenities were exciting and service was so friendly. We vacationed with four children from 3 years old to 11 and everyone enjoyed their stay. Hay rides, rec room, crafts, ice cream social, bingo and beautiful fire works for the special occasion were nothing short of amazing. The pool is toasty and the grounds are pristine. Thank YOU Daniel for your amazing campground and the very friendly staff. You have acquired new regulars.
