(August 27, 2019, 12:28 am)Rideau Canal Visitor Centre in Smiths Falls offers interesting information on the construction of the UNESCO World Heritage on four floors. The highlight is the tower atop the building where you can enjoy outstanding views of the city. Staff is also particularly friendly and helpful. Entrance is free.

(August 25, 2018, 10:10 pm)Great location, took my niece and nephew there and they enjoyed it, with a number of interactive objects to test out. The floors were rather small, but that can be a good thing if you have kids with you. It's a nice tall building, with a decent view of the town and a great view of the falls themselves.
