(March 3, 2022, 3:05 pm)The "Lee" was the first place that I had a legal drink after I turned 18 years old way back in 1974 . I have long since moved away from the Smiths Falls area ( I moved to Montreal in 1975 ) and have never been back to the Lee since. Who knows, maybe one day I will return. I don't really remember too much about the place other than it was nicknamed the "Naughty Lee" or something like that. Glad to see that it still open.

No girls it's because he was naughty that he got the nick name but related to baseball and it's early history of baseball in Upper Canada!
The Tavern is old needs a makeover but part of the charm it's clean, fast service with friendly bartenders like Tim and Bill who will keep you well lubricated and take your bets on the horse racing.
I haven't been there for the live bands but hear good things.
If you want to reminisce down memory lane and save on costs well I recommend the Lee Tavern and shoot some great pool at the same time.
I know we'll be back just to get some lip from Tim haha! 👍👍 -
