So I stopped in on my way through town due to the great reviews. Great old school sandwich shop and bakery. Had a good breakfast for a very decent price. And the fresh bread toast was fantastic. Took a butter tart square and the date filled oatmeal cookies to go. While I was there the regulars filtered in and out and bantered and joked with the friendly staff.
Unfortunately they told me they are closing in next week after twenty years as a new resistant is opening down the street. I think this will be a loss, and the new restaurant will have to work hard to live up to the vacancy this place closing will leave.
A little gem of a restaurant with great food. A unique little town. Must go and explore this town.
