About 3 years ago we replaced our old fridge with a new one from McIntrye TV & Appliances. The fridge worked ok during our season at the lake but we noticed some extra condensation around the freezer door. By the time we were sure this was an issue we closed the cottage for the winter.
Last spring we restarted everything but during the first 3 weeks of back and forth we realized that our freezer was not working properly and food was thawing and refreezing. When we put a call in to McIntyre’s they got out right away to check because they noticed we had two weeks left on our warranty!!!!
Long and short of all this... they found the problem (Freon Leak) and recommended replacing the fridge, went to bat for us with the manufacturers, came and took the old dead fridge away and brought us a “loaner” , while we waited for the manufacturere’s bureaucracy to grind it all out, got new fridge shipped in, brought it to us, took away the loaner and brought in new fridge and set it up.
This was not simple as these fridges had to go up or down 3 steps on our deck and over the doorstep every time. As a bonus we eventually discovered that some of the issues we were experiencing in the past had to do with the fridge being in an unheated space for three seasons and this wonderful man knew about a retro fit for fridges in garages and cottages. It is working perfectly.
An amazing degree of customer service and we would HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!
