We had an excellent stay here during the summer. The tiny cottage was well equipped and spacious. We even used the camp ground as well and my daughter and husband set up our tent and enjoyed a night under the stars.

We saw hummingbirds, bunnies, and more.

It was not a far drive to get to the beach in Goderich either.

The ground and trails were well maintained. Close enough to the town and restaurants, but secluded enough to enjoy peace, quiet and nature.

    We'd love to come back!

This was an amazing getaway! The cabin was spotless and well thought out. The trails were beautiful and well marked. Linda was so nice and helpful. The peace and serenity were exactly what we needed to unwind. Would highly recommend to couples looking to get away and recharge.

I enjoyed an amazing two-night stay at this airy and bright PRIVATE tiny cabin in the woods. It may only be 100-200 meters (yards) away from another living soul, but you feel like you are plopped down in the wilderness, waiting for the fairy-tale character of your choice to come strolling along the trail.
The ample windows and front & rear covered decks give the interior a spacious feel. Skylights ensure maximum lighting in the day, and attractive fixtures light the cabin walls warmly at night.
I enjoyed walking along the groomed and marked trails that showcased the autumn colours in the aged forest native to this area.
There is an outstanding swim-spa on site as well. For those looking for another level of aquatic rest and relaxation, this is the space for you. I enjoyed the propane BBQ on the back porch and the chimenea (sp?) in the back 'yard'.
The cabin has a full 3 piece bathroom, (sink, shower, and compostable toilet) as well as a kitchen that will leave you wanting for nothing.
Oh, and did I mention everything was spotless? Clean, tidy, and organized. The hosts were friendly and so pleasant to deal with via email, text, phone, and face to face. Their instructions for the home and its care were clear and reasonable, and all required tools and products were provided.
I could not have had a better time here.
I strongly recommend this as your Number One destination if you are looking for something peaceful and in touch with the beautiful nature this region has to display.

We had a lovely stay at the tiny cabin! It’s very convenient, as towels, bedding, kitchen wares, lawn chairs and more are all supplied. We felt very peaceful being able to look out at the trees throughout the day, and loved reading on the porch when it rained. Linda and Wayne were attentive and we appreciated the opportunity to stay here. Our advice is to bring a lot of bug spray in the summer for the trails. :)

I had been at another nearby VRBO and, unfortunately, had been ill so I found this listing and it sounded perfect to have another week's vacation from my vacation. The tiny cottage is perfect for 1 or 2 people with all you need and if you do need something the host is quick to respond and accommodate. I cannot express enough praise for the host or the cabin. Her pride and passion for sharing her cabin and peaceful, natural environment was obvious. She took time to listen and chat, when she had time (I was on my own). The cottage was immaculately clean. I was still not well so I didn't get to enjoy the trails or swim spa, but I totally enjoyed the peace and quiet on the deck. Listening to the birdsong and seeing the trees, wildflowers, birds and rabbits in the day and the immense number of fireflies at night immersed me back to nature. I'm so grateful to have stayed at this gem of a cottage and to have had the pleasure of dealing with a kind, compassionate and accommodating host. Thank you so much!
