He is also one of a very few trained mediators, which means he is licensed to do all he can to avoid the need for lawyers. He is like a trade person who will arrive at your house, diagnose the problem and, if possible, give you practical DIY advice to get the job done yourself.
I have witnessed him as my lawyer practicing in difficult situations with both tact and forcefulness, precisely when they are needed. Law is not only about books, it demands keen observance of human nature or else you can damage your client's case.
Having Joseph in our corner has been a great source of peace in some very difficult situations. -

He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. He avoids unnecessary and costly antagonism (he has a rare qualification as a mediator) and thinks like his clients.
