(September 6, 2022, 11:44 pm)I've been under Melissa's tutelage ever since I was around eight years of age. Thanks to her instruction, I am now attending Sheridan College's Honours Bachelor of Illustration ten years later.
Melissa is a very patient teacher and down-to-earth individual. Her lessons are easy to follow and understand while providing a challenge to those who wish to expand their skills, whether it is through new mediums or tools. If you or your child is interested in the arts, I strongly recommend her as a first instructor. -

Her simple strategies for beginning and executing a drawing allowed him to not only create brilliant and focused pieces, but fired his artistic imagination. Melissa’s patience, easygoing encouragement, and critical Eye for detail provides young artists an opportunity to thrive in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend Melissa as an art tutor to anyone wishing to pursue a future in art.

(March 22, 2022, 6:31 pm)My daughter had the pleasure of attending class with Melissa on/off over the last couple of years. She was extremely accommodating to our sometimes hectic schedule.
Melissa was always professional, and very patient and helpful with the kids. Explaining styles and techniques, and then encouraging my daughter to try, while guiding. We have moved away from the area and unfortunately can no longer attend her classes. We would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and an absolute delight to be around! -

She taught me how to develop my drawing skills step by step with patience, kindness and a helping hand. Her class was something I looked forward to once a week, I had so much fun there. She helped me create my portfolio for college which I feel set me up for success while I pursue my design career. I would recommend her class to anyone looking to further develop their skills in the arts (sketching) as she is super talented and the best art teacher I have ever had.
