They're very caring and reasonably priced. I live in Trenton and won't take my dog to any other vet.

Big thank you to Dr. Burns and the wonderful ladies Karen, Lori, Erin, Carolyn, chantelle and Nancy. The staff are friendly, outgoing, respectful, educated, and great with animals and also explaining to the pet parents. The ladies are so nice and make great recommendations. The most helpful veterinary clinic I have ever been to. I drive from an hour away to visit Belleville Animal Hospital. Thank you From Brenna & Hades the Rottie

Adopted a cat named Norm. I changed it to Rebel. He is at home and a loving cat. Need a back nail clipping on our next outing. He's so handsome and quiet purr.

Great vet and staff! I know there's a lot of mixed reviews on this place but whenever I have needed them they've pulled through and didn't charge a fortune for it. This review is years over due but I think it should be shared anyways.

So to begin and to add the context of my experience with them I'll start at the very beginning. 7 years ago my grandpa died and he was my favorite person in the whole world. It just so happens he passed on my birthday too, but on the very same night my friends dog had puppies.
I was grieving severely months later and I decided something needed to change and pull me out of my depression, so I got a puppy. Daphne is a husky/sheppard mix and one of the most hyper ADHD dogs I've ever had lol. I love her to death and taking care of her is what got me taking care of myself again.
Flash forward 10 months and I moved to Belleville with someone. As we were moving in the door was left open and she got out and was hit by a car on Station street. We took her to the closest vet and that was unfortunately the Bleeker St one and they wouldn't even see her until I paid all the fees upfront. As you can see she's pure white with a bit of blonde and she was so filthy and her leg barley hanging on. Needless to say I was traumatized seeing her in such a state when she was my lifesaver. The Bleeker vets kept throwing out numbers at me and saying how she needed a possibly 10,000$+ surgery and lots of aftercare for up to a year or more depending on the course we took and how if I couldn't do it or afford it I should just relinquish her to their care now so they can do what's best for her.
As we were sitting there she was clearly in pain and I had to ask and pay them first to give me pain meds AND I had to ask for wipes so I could clean her wounds. They kept pushing and saying how difficult it'll be and how much money it'll cost and they don't do payment plans so I should do what's best for her blah blah blah. So I called BAH and they told me they did payment plans and to bring her over.
We get there and they do xrays, set her leg, cast it and tell me what the best course of action will be. Within days they had her referred and into an orthopedic surgeon and a steel plate and 6 pins put into her leg. All inclusive for the surgery, xrays, medication, follow up visit was 2,300$ and at thay point they allowed payment plans. I'm not sure if they do now but they did.
Point of this long review is that BAH was there when I needed them the most and gave her the best care for the best pricing and they were very kind and didn't at all try and make me relinquish her to the SPCA when I said I couldn't afford it all right then and there. So I will be forver grateful to them for not taking advantage of me when I needed help.

Why I am posting this now is because I was in last week because she had a ear infection. Over the past few years we added some new additions to our fam and we were taking them all to my s/o vet. They raised their prices apparently tho and are kinda snobby there and I never really liked them and last time we took out other dog in 1,500$ later we still no answers as to what was wrong. They couldn't fit Daphne into their schedule for awhile because it wasn't an emergency type situation, so I called BAH and they got her in within a few days and gave her what she needed with no issue.
The exam fee here is only 75$ instead of the 95$+ like most others and unlike other vets I've been to they don't get you a run around here for a answers to questions.
So to wrap this long AF review up I highly recommend Belleville Animal Hospital because they care for the animals here and it's not just all about getting as much money out of you as possible.
