Update: it is almost Christmas and the building needed to do some boiler maintenance so they turned the heat off for the day. Come 5 pm when it was supposed to be back on we have had no heat for a few days now. We put in a request for this as it is FREEZING in our apartment and the response was it's not that important so we will likely be without heat until after Christmas. I would like to think that they just can't get anyone in here to do it until the new years but given the past nature of the super being lazy rude and unprofessional it seems like it's just a reoccurrence of that. So we will be spending our Christmas without heat. It's unlikely that they cannot get anyone in here considering they had just gotten someone to work on the boiler when this started on December 20th... in my opinion this is very important to have your tenants warm and comfortable especially during December and the winter months. and we pay to have a heated apartment.! We will likely be using our stove to heat our selfs thanks to EIWO management. The building will not return our emails and we are frustrated continuously trying to get a hold of someone that can help us. Or hopefully they will fix it in the next few days. But I'm preparing to be without heat for a week or more given the nature of this building. Merry Christmas.
