The inspection exceeded expectations, helped us to understand what was possible in terms of renovating and what to ask contractors. On-top of that, Jochen used tools such as extended camera to observe the exterior roof, found issues we would not have noticed or been aware of and he patiently answered all of our many questions.
The interactive report that he delivers is well organized, breaks down info by category, timeframe/urgency of repair, and the suggested trade who could fix the issue.
We hadn't gotten an inspection done prior to purchasing but are doing renovations so got one done to learn about the house. Our report from Inspection Haus was definitely worth it for us to confidently renovate and care for our home. -

The report itself was very clear, easy to understand and well itemized. Jochen is a true professional and we will be using his services again.

(January 21, 2020, 1:20 am)I hired Jochen to do a pre-listing inspection of the house we are currently selling. He combines his Western European background with his superb knowledge of Canadian homes. Being Dutch myself I know that Deutsche gründlichkeit can't be beat. Jochen knows everything about home construction, potential issues and safety hazards - both inside and outside the house. He also took the time to explain everything and come up with possible solutions. We are moving to a different province, otherwise I would have definitely hired Jochen to inspect our new house as well.

It feels as though he truly has your best interests at heart, guiding us around pitfalls and solutions it was very reassuring working with him. I can honestly recommend Inspection Haus for the thorough and rewarding experience we've had on the purchase of 2 houses.
