In 2021 Higgins Hardscape completed a variety of work on our property – natural stone front porch, side yard walk-way, composite deck, basement door install and walk up to back yard, pool coping and patio.

We first met Nick (principal designer) in the spring of 2021 – He was honest, professional, responsive and very knowledgeable. After meeting with quite a few other companies – we knew right away that we wanted to work with Higgins Hardscape.

Communication was clear, organized and professional – the contact outlined each step of the project which is extremely helpful and we felt informed each step of the way. Rob Higgins’ (Owner) skill, attention to detail and experience with large scale projects was invaluable in bringing our project together. On site visits to support design and final decisions with both Nick and Rob really provided us with a lot of confidence in the decisions we made.

The work began on time and was completed in a timely fashion (the work extended a bit – but that was only because Rob and his team saved the day and completed additional work required to make the project perfect!). Every crew member who worked at our home was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and skilled. The crew provided us with updates when needed – which we so appreciated. Neighbours also commented on how clean the site was left at the end of each working day.

During the course of our work we knew that Rob and his crew had other projects they were working on – however, when it came to answering questions the team was very responsive. We always felt informed, there were no surprise changes to costs (which is always a plus!) and the work completed is beautiful. Rob’s team works so well together, great communication and camaraderie between the members.

We are thrilled with the outcome – our front and backyard has been completely transformed. The attention to detail, quality and skill of those who completed the project is evident. We can’t wait for the spring to see our garden bloom and our backyard pool come to life!
