I was there when Natalie Billeci (actually her married name is Murphy) had her "experience". Her review was based entirely on spite. Her child was barely in the room before she stormed out in a rage. She brought her child in after all the other children were seated and expected the teacher to ignore them in favour of her child. The little girl was being shy (as children often are) but they were in the room for less than 1 minute before she hauled her child out. She was rude to the staff and demanded her money back on the spot. The staff were very professional and showed more patience than she deserved. I know this sounds like more of a review of the parent but her statement was mostly false and written in anger less than 1 hour after leaving the studio. I found the staff to be professional and attentive and my child loved the class. Mike Murphy was with her so feel free to discount his review as you see fit.

P.S. To respond to Natale's and Mike's " P.S.", my response was made the moment I saw her initial review. I have never met or spoke with the owner. That makes them both liars. It was the first time I had set foot in the studio (my wife enrolled my little one). We sat and watched on the video feed and listened as she abused the poor woman behind the desk. The entire room commented after she left and I even apologised on her behalf. There are witnesses and video to back these statements. I feel sorry for any professional that has the misfortune of working with her child as they are likely to receive the same treatment.

I have had the pleasure of having Christine as a teacher back when I used to dance. She was always extremely professional and dedicated to her students. I have even substitute taught for her at her studio. I found the environment to be very welcoming and you can really tell how much her students love being a part of Ballare. Furthermore, I have worked with the teacher Natalie is referring to. She has been teaching young students for many years and has always created a safe fun space for all of her students every single week. So sorry to hear that her child will be missing out on a chance to be a part of Ballare Studio Dance!

My daughter is in her 6th year at Ballare, started when she was 4 years old. We have have been very happy there and I highly recommend it. Staff is very professional and is willing to work with any issue that may arise. I agree with T Fraser, and also observed the incident Natalie described. Natalie left within 5 minutes of the class starting, and neglected to mention the adorable photo frame the teacher brought and had all the new students take a picture with, greeting each of them and giving them attention before class including Natalie's daughter. She also neglected to mention the class was for 3 year olds and up. When she decided to get angry and leave so quickly, the front dest staff offered to assist her in settling her daughter into the class, which she refused, and she also ignored their mentioned that there is another class for 18mos to 3 years, which may be more appropriate for her daughter. As soon as she left, the assistant in the class came out looking for her, so she was not forgotten or ignored. Depending on the child, sometimes it doesn't help to have new adults come over to young kids as it can be scary, which is why they allow parents to come into the room. She was not being ignored, they were starting the class for the other children there and probably allowing her time to get comfortable before coming over to her. It's a shame she let her overreaction and impatience not allow the staff time to settle her into the class, to give something new enough time or another chance before becoming so angry, and to keep her daughter from easing into something that I'm sure she would have enjoyed.
