My friends and I had a great weekend up at Northern Ice Fishing. Owen the host was super accommodating to us and helped make sure we had everything we needed in terms of supplies and getting set up on the ice! The cabin was basic in terms of the amenities with simple bunk beds, a propane burner and essential kitchen items but it was enough for the weekend. However, one night it got quite cold in the cabin (-35 C outside) so it would be recommended to bring sufficient clothing and other items to stay warm during especially cold days. We didn’t manage to catch any fish unfortunately but overall had a great time thanks to Owen’s hospitality!

Had a great experience even though the weather didn't cooperate. Hosts Owen and Tilly were incredible, from helping take us to and from the shack, to having the stove started, all we had to do was drop our lines and catch fish. We truly loved the experience and look forward to doing it again.

Had a great time ice fishing with an old friend Todd Wilson. Owen was a great host and made sure we were taken care of. The hut was clean and Owen even came to the rescue when my ATV got stuck.

Honestly, couldnt ask for better hosts. They were ready to go when you wanted to go, had everything set up, put you on fish. I went two weeks in a row and wouldnt hesitate going for a 3rd if it was an option. They even kept the wood stove going in the cabin while you were out fishing. Super friendly and extremely hardworking. Would recommend to anyone. Appreciate the hard work owen and tillie!
