Odette's K9 Solutions

Odette is absolutely amazing! I had several goals when I got my Papillion puppy in August 2022, the most important of which that he not be a reactive puppy/dog. Odette was indispensable in my pup achieving these goals and I am beyond happy to have an almost one year old pup that does not react to people walking by my house or lunge, pull or bark at people or other dogs when we are out together. Odette is patient, incredibly knowledgeable and always wants the dog to live its best life with its people.

Odette’s K9 Solutions was amazing in helping us with our 1yr old German Shorthaired Pointer Hank!! He is our 3rd GSP but has a much different personality than the first two and We needed help with his training. Odette worked closely with us to determine our issues and came up with a customized training plan to teach US how to communicate clearly with Hank! Hank is happy go lucky loves to run and loves to please. We now have a dog that we can trust off leash in rural areas and know that when we call him he will come! We still have issues to work on and are so glad Odette continues to help us! Highly recommend the services offered and we can’t wait for the next meet up to spend time with other students and their dogs for a time of training and play!

I met Odette when I was looking for a trainer for my 4 month old black lab. I had never used a Trainer before but this time I had 2 kids that were needing training too. We started with the puppy class, Odette took the time to help my kids understand the importance of proper training and using reward for good behaviour. We have attended multiple classes since 4 months and piper graduated with flying colours and so did we. I do not have a fenced yard and with the training provided and the follow through on our end Piper has free rein.
I would recommend Odette to any new or old dog owner . She makes the training as much about the person as the dog.

As 'cat people', getting our first dog during the pandemic was always going to be a rather fraught time with So.Much.To.Learn. LUCKILY Odette's K9 Solutions company was just opening up around the corner from us! Odette's calm and no-nonsense approach to puppy training had us hooked from the start. Watching our crazy bouncy high-energy puppy learn to be still and calm under Odette's watchful eye has been amazing. What we didn't quite realise was just how much WE had to learn too! Odette teaches puppy parents how to continue the behavioural techniques Flora was learning, with us at home. And it has been soooo worth it! We now have a delightful, attentive and well-behaved soon-to-be-2-year-old that will continue to benefit from Odette's teachings in years to come. Look at her sitting 'in place' here in the photo, while so much distraction is going on around her! This was unimaginable a year or more ago. Thank you Odette!

Working with Odette to train *ME* and my boy, Krueger, has been a huge help in recognizing where I was making the simplest mistakes and how to easily correct them. Odette is so friendly and very easy to get along with but won’t hesitate to point out a teachable moment. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working together and always look forward to our next visit.
