(May 30, 2023, 2:56 pm)On the way back from Toronto to Montreal, the serpentine belt broke on the 401. As it was a holiday, everything was closed in Kingston. I had my car towed to Action Auto Services. At 7:30 in the morning, I was there and explained to them my situation and that I needed my car repaired urgently so that I could get home to Montreal with my child.
Even though they had a very busy day, they immediately took charge of repairing my car. Nearly 1 hour later, my car was repaired and I was ready to hit the road. The price was very reasonable and the service impeccable. Other garages could have taken advantage of my urgent situation, but Action Auto did not.

I brought in my (very old) car to have it checked over. It needed a new muffler and an oil change, but I wanted to make sure it was worth it first.
They called me the same day to tell me that the car was sadly not worth repairing, as the frame is rusted through, so they didn’t go ahead with any extra repairs! They didn’t even charge for checking it, as they felt bad being the bearer of bad news! They are so incredible and I will definitely be bringing any future cars here, and recommend them to everyone! -

My parents have used them for over a decade with several vehicles. I have been, and will continue to recommend Action Auto to my friends, family, and co-workers. When other shops let you down have faith in this shop to do it right, props to Terry and the team for running a reliable/trustworthy business in an industry plagued by unreliable mechanics!

(October 11, 2022, 1:24 pm)My wife and I have had both of our Subaru Foresters serviced continually by Action for the last 10 years and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the service, the level of communication and the honesty of the technicians. Pricing without gouging or adding sneaky charges or random part replacements/repairs that you weren't informed of. The level of honesty is as important as the quality of the service.
I wouldn't hesitate to take any car there - the shop is top notch!
