  For a not so big general store that serves the entire island they carry pretty much a little of everything. The people who work there are very friendly and ready to chat.

  Great general store. Everything you need including fresh meat from a local butcher, fresh bakery items as well as a small beer and wine selection.

  Well stocked grocery store right beside where the ferry docks at Wolfe Island. A full meat counter, dairy counter and even frozen goods. Lots of choice of wines, beers and alcohol, so if you forgot something before taking the ferry you can find it at the Fargo General Store. They don't take visa or master card for alcohol or beer, only for groceries, so make sure to have cash or banking card with you :) Excellent store becausr if you are in a rush to get on the ferry you can purchase your groceries on the island :)

  A lovely reminder of the good old days - a corner store that has everything you need, including a good selection of herbs, spices and baking supplies. There is always a good selection in the LCBO section. Fresh Wilton cheese curds, and a source for Wolfe Island bread when the bakery's closed. Good coffee, newspapers, and caring, well-informed staff. Fargo's is one of the places that make Wolfe Island a magical place to live or visit.
