Great hiking area
Beautiful and well maintained. Lots of conservation works in place to check out. Trail users are friendly. Beautiful space.
This is a true gem of a hiking trail. Well marked with most trails running along the clear waters of Catfish Creek or around large wetland ponds. Many new trees have been planted to supplement the great variety of old growth trees that make up the tall canopy. Lots of majestic Sycamore trees with their unique smooth white bark along with many varieties of Oak, Maple, Cherry, Sassafras and other Carolinian species. Many docks and bolders placed around the wetlands and Creek for viewing or fishing. Lots of birdhouses to encourage bird populations. Trails are wide and well groomed with predominantly sandy surfaces but can get a bit mucky after wet weather so hiking boots are recommended.
Nice nature trails...some follow a nice creek and some encircle a large wetland with all the flora and fauna one would expect to see.Even some nice bass fishing.Good place to walk your dog
I love taking a walk here, it's so peaceful and fairly well maintained
I especially love the water Lily pond. Its gorgeous in full bloom, and they smell lovely
A beautiful place full of native wildlife and a massive woodpecker who's hammering echos the forest. Amazing
