(February 3, 2019, 6:06 pm)Went to the SC for Whitbylicious. Had not visited prior. Seating is comfortable, although felt seats a little low compared to table height. Ambiance was nice and felt intimate. Food was terrific! Portions were amble and prices were not outrageous. A nice find and will absolutely return to try other menu gems. Thanks for a nice night out!

(January 9, 2019, 4:35 am)Went here for the first time this past weekend for a family member’s birthday. We were a group of 9 and we all loved this little gem tucked away in Oshawa/Whitby. The ambiance was very nice and cozy, food was superb, drink menu was very nice.
Our server Blair was most friendly and on the ball with the menu and any questions we had. As a vegetarian I asked for some substitutions and he was so kind to go and ask the chef if it was possible. My meal was Delicious! I do hope the owner reads this and to make note that Blair was a wonderful additional to our experience at this restaurant!
We were all amazed with how beautiful our appetizers looked and tasted.
Everyone was happy with their main dish.
Even the kids menu was fine dining ( chicken strips that the other adults had to try what little the kids left and all said the chicken melts like butter!)
I can’t believe all these years in Durham we have been travelling to Toronto for fine dining when this is a hop and a skip away from home.
Will definitely be returning for more family events to enjoy great food and drinks. -

(January 8, 2019, 7:28 pm)Came for dinner in a weekend with a reservation for 6. Service was impeccable and we had a large table at the top level with a nice view. Even surrounded by small tables it felt comfortable. Service was excellent and felt very personal. We all enjoyed our meals. Wine selection was on point and dessert was great. The food was really well made. Good for a special occasion. They have some beautiful and romantic looking seats on the main level.

(November 29, 2018, 11:14 pm)Very nice place. Portions could be a wee bit bigger (even for those with small appetites). Pricing reflects ambience (fine dining pricing). Food could do with a little more seasoning or flavour as the fish didn't have much of a taste which could imply it was old or washed out. Staff was friendly and very attentive. I would go again though to try the rest of their menu.
