Montana's

I just love Montana's. Steak, sandwhiches, apps , they are all good ! Never leave disappointed , and the service is great too

A Cara franchise that's still desperately trying to find a good core menu IMHO. I'm not a huge fan of Montana's as their steaks & ribs are supposed to be the best part of their menu, but they lack.
No good restaurant should use frozen steaks.... they did. A 10oz steak that I got about 8 oz.from is a travesty. When you drop a frozen steak onto a grill, you can tell. For the price you pay, you should be getting the best product.

The restaurant was not very busy , as we waited to be seated. Many servers/employees were passing by and did not acknowledge or greet us. After a several long minutes the hostess arrived not friendly at all, not a smile ,just asked how many? The waitress was nice, the food was ok. Overall a better experience than fast food ,but not great.

I've always liked Montana's and like the other franchises, this is earns it's place as well. I do have to to say the 7oz AAA medium rare sirloin I had today was very very good. Very tender and juicy. I do have to bring up that to me, it looked like the mashed potatoes and the onions were a little on the light side. Maybe I had the last in the pot or maybe serving sizes went down. I wouldn't suggest the serving getting any smaller because it wouldn't be worth the price. All in all I'd come back.

Was very surprised with the food quality... I don't remember Montana's ever being good... But the rib and wing was delicious.. could have used a bit more sauce on the ribs though
