Amazing multi-service organization.
My experience here was not only a learning experience..but it taught me that people do care, and to find what is most important to me. The staff were genuinely caring and supportive. F.T.P was a great resource for many things from providing temporary shelter for myself and young children to assisting with paperwork, court preparations, learning about the abusive cycles and that living with someone abusive is not ok. That is is ok to ask for help. They helped to to find a home...and they showed me how to do things for myself. And most importantly they helped me to realize that I can not change someone, they have to want to change for themselves and that I am not responsible for that persons actions. I truly did learn a lot from FTP and I believe that if I hadn't received their help I may not be here today or still living in a repetitive abusive cycle. Thank You Family Transitions Place for helping my family and caring.
