(August 4, 2019, 2:57 pm)I have been going to Cunningham for many years when I need parts. I have been to both locations, this one in Orangeville and the other in Fergus; the one in Orangeville has been around for as long as I can remember.
The store seems a bit small, cramped and needs a renovation, but it suffices. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
I am giving it only 3 stars as, over time, I find they just don't have what I need anymore, basic things like belts.
I don't blame the store, but the disposable society we now live in. My last vacuum was a Hoover, it was big, heavy and expensive, it also did not last long before I started needing new parts for it. I naturally went to Cunningham; they don't (at least at that time) carry Hoover parts??? Again, I don't blame Cunningham, seems Hoover has moved everything to China and they are making parts too hard to get. That is what the store clerk told me at least.
I just can't seem to get parts for my vacuum, carpet cleaner or handheld so I don't really bother looking anymore, just buy a cheaper vacuum (not Hoover) and except the fact it will not last very long and when it breaks, buy a new one. -
