Pretty good bang for the buck. Corteous service at the front desk. The rooms are pretty spacious but a bit outdated. No stopper for the bathtub. TV was small but had lots of channels. The mattress was in decent condition. Located about 45 mins away from Tobermory. A bit of road noise but nothing crazy. Firepits and BBQs in the back was a novel touch, although I had no time to use them.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic motel for two nights with my family, and I can't express enough how incredible our experience was!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the host, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our stay was enjoyable was truly remarkable.

The location of this motel is a nature lover's dream. Surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, we felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The spacious rooms were not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, ensuring a restful night's sleep for our family.

What truly sets this place apart is its breathtaking backyard space. We spent hours enjoying the tranquil surroundings, making memories with our family. It's a perfect retreat to unwind and connect with nature. And the highlight of our stay was the unforgettable bonfire we had in the backyard.

One of the most remarkable aspects was the affordability of our stay. Given the quality of our experience, we felt like we were getting a 5-star experience for a fraction of the cost. It's an excellent value for your It's a hidden gem close to nature.

We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories in this peaceful oasis. Thank you for making our family getaway so memorable!

We booked a family room for one night, it was nice and clean. Comfortable for four adults. We didn’t had time to order the food though. Location is great just next to highway and near to Sauble beach with about an hour commute to Bruce peninsula.

Booked 5 rooms for coworkers and I on a trip thru the Bruce Peninsula. All of our rooms were comfortable, clean and had a fridge. Host was lovely and prepared an amazing Indian meal feast for us all. A quiet spot at the top end of town but easy to walk down to the water and shops. Easy drive north to explore the Peninsula. Great value. Will be coming back for sure.

Nice Little Motel In The Woods
My family and I stayed at this motel for 2 nights during our road trip visit to Central Ontario (Bruce Peninsula) in Aug 2022. Although a bit pricey we still found the accommodations quite spacious compared to other establishments. I liked the idea of having access to the back of the room to their cozy private garden area provided with a picnic & some fire pit for campfire (though we didn't use it). Breakfast was descent although they had limited selections (but no hot breakfast provided). One aspect that I appreciated from the owner was a request I made to print a voucher for me at no cost. It is most likely that I will consider staying here again should we visit the Bruce Peninsula in the near future.
PS: We inherited a defective door frame. On the 1st night we could not open the door from outside. Of course the owner came immediately to remedy the situation. However I suggest they should invest in having the whole door frame replaced. Other customers might not be as lucky.
