(March 8, 2021, 2:16 am)I can not say enough about this experience! This was my first time glamping and Steve, the host, made every aspect of our stay absolutely Devine. The yurt was extremely comfortable and warm with the wood stove, the bed was perfect, coffee brought to us in the morning, the meals were out of this world....see photos of beef tenderloin, salmon and scallops, elk lasagna, and more! My two dogs had the time of their lives....lots of room for them to sleep and stay warm, and had a great time adventuring outside. I had such enjoyment watching them have so much fun as well.

(September 8, 2019, 9:11 pm)We came for New Years Eve. We had a lot of fun even though it was freezing rain. The food was amazing! The host is a really cool guy with a lot of fun stories. Our dog was happy and comfortable too.

(April 15, 2019, 3:54 pm)My girlfriend and I stayed at Atelier Arboreal in March 2019 and had an absolutely incredible time. Steve goes above and beyond as a host. It was an amazingly unique experience! Highly recommended.

(February 21, 2019, 12:58 pm)Amazing outdoor winter weekend. It's rustic as expected but it only adds to the fun of sleeping in a yurt. The food Steve cooked was amazing. Located within short drives to Bruce Caves, the Grotto and cross country ski trails. Definitely recommend staying here.

(January 28, 2019, 7:39 pm)It was our first time "winter camping " and didn't really know what to expect. Steve, our host lives off grid and has assembled his spot all by hand and without the use of machinery. His place has a mix of yurts and tipis. He has built a pizza oven out of clay and an outdoor sauna. It has a communal kitchen where guests assemble for all of his homemade meals which where delicious! It was a very cold weekend and it was even difficult for the full size wood stove in our yurt to keep us warm. Don't pack too much ( like we did) as we only wore a few of the things we brought. Be prepared for a roughing it wknd. The toilet is a bucket and am not sure about a shower. Steve greets you at your car with snowshoes and you have to walk in about 600 metres before arriving at your place. Overall it was a unique experience! Lisa and Andrew Keating
