But you know what, just being there, right by the old light keeper’s quarters, I could still feel the history. I wandered around outside, imagining what life would've been like for those keeping watch over the waters of Georgian Bay

You can't miss these red and white buildings on the island. Now run by volunteers, this is a stop to visit while you are here.
Unfortunately, it's not opened everyday. -

(August 30, 2020, 1:03 am)So beautiful and def worth the trip. Must book you boat tour and we did ours with Bruce anchor and the boat was very clean and they walk around and along your temperatures and making sure you sanitize your hands before entering the boat. We got to see the shipwrecks.
Btw, take note that the trail to the lighthouse is closed so don't bother going all that way to see it
