Did the flowerpot island loop trail. It is actually about 5km. The west side of the loop was moderately challenging, roots and rocks. The east side of the loop was relatively easy. Both the big and small flowerpots were magnificent. The cave was pretty interesting.

Gorgeous! You have to book a boat to visit the island. I would recommend booking as soon as possible since the tickets gets sold out fast. We took the boat for 9:30 am which did not let us see the ship wreckage so I would recommend something after 10am to be able to see it!!
We took the trail - easy mode.
Nonetheless this is a very gorgeous place with chilly water, but you will still see people swimming and having fun 🥳

Around 1-1.5 hour long trail to do the entire circuit. Some inclines and declines. Very accessible route for the main path. There are lots of social trails that take you to the water.

The flowerpots are very neat. I won't post it here, but I would suggest taking a look at the info sign on "the way flowerpots are made." It gives you an appreciation for the length of time and circumstance for these to be as they are. It adds depth to their existence.

    Overall a beautiful island!

I camped at Bruce Peninsula Park and visited Tobermory 4-5 times but never seen the island before.
Worth visiting once but nothing too exciting. We finished the hiking in 80 minutes and swam in the lake while waiting for the ferry.
The long trail is not suitable for strollers except for the first 500 meters. It is between easy and moderate.

So much fun! The beauty of the island is amazing. You take a boat to the island where you can first stop at shipwrecks and then head to the island. The island had such beautiful water views, where you can look at the birds. There were plenty of hiking trails, some where the trails were easier with a boardwalk type to others more tough. The island gets very busy with boats coming in about every hour. I saw many parents bring strollers and struggle right away as it’s too rocky so I wouldn’t recommend bringing a stroller. You should pack food, water and snacks as there are plenty of picnic tables you can sit and eat at. the washrooms are very dirty, the dirtiest I’ve ever seen in my life so I would recommend using the washroom prior to going to the Island. Once you enter the island there is plenty to see. First you will see the waterfront beach area followed by trails. You should check out the cave that is further down the trail, it’s so worth it. I would wear bug spray as the cave is damp and moist so the bugs were there. We went to the lighthouse I would venture there as it’s beautiful with another view of the water, tons of picnic tables and a beautiful relaxing scene. The boat ride was 45 mins there and 30 mins back. It definitely was a fun, active day trip with such pretty Carrie views. I really recommend going!
