I personally don't love how close together the campsites are. The beach is beautiful, but you need shoes, those rocks are not pleasant on your feet! Bruce Trail in is a rocky ride, the other trail option seems pretty easy.

Probably one of the most beautiful campsites there is.

Very beautiful. Nice sites and nice clean "bathroom". The hike in is a little tough however. Very rocky and vertical. You need to use the rope (which is there) to climb down to the sites

We parked at halfway log and hiked to high dump campsite for a one night stay. Both my girlfriend and I are beginners and each carried about 25lbs packs each. Definitely a challenging hike for us doing it in about 3-3.5hrs as the final leg consists of a fairly rocky ascent/descent. Make sure to have proper hiking boots at minimum with lots of small rocks to deal with. The campsite itself is remote and worth it. Impressive compost bathroom, bear hang and tent platforms Beach views and the swim after a sweaty hike was one of most refreshing things to do in mid July. Definitely stay 2 nights or get there early to make that hike worth it!

We originally were going to park at crane lake and hike to high dump which is longer 3.5-4.5hrs but we learned the hard way it's pretty buggy being closer to water at a lower level. Definitely not comfortable despite all the bug spray! We learned this the hard way when we accidentally hiked 45 min towards crane lake vs our original route to storm haven!

Overall great destination! Good luck in your camp and hike adventures. This one is definitely one to add to list for the beach and view alone!

High Dump was where I first tried my hand at backpacking and as a first time backpacker, I enjoyed every moment of it.

The hike to the campsite was lengthy 4 hours but not especially arduous. I was taken through some picturesque settings and never felt like I was in any danger.

When I arrived, I found the campsite to be quiet and serene. Yes, there was other sites nearby but I never felt like there wasn't enough privacy. The platform to place my tent was a great perk and the georgian bay was close by to filter any additional water that I needed.

Lastly, I was very happy with the bear hang they provided. Not many parks have these available and you either have to do a hang yourself or purchase a bear vault which can take up valuable space on your pack. It was much appreciated

All in all it was a great place to start my camping and if anything it's spoiled me for any future camp sites.
