The Lion's Lighthouse Cottage

This cottage was perfect for a summer getaway! Very clean and well equipped, large bedrooms with plenty of space and a large kitchen, family room and dining area, great for families of all sizes. The location is central, right off Main Street, a five minute walk to the beach and restaurants, ten minutes walk to the pier and lighthouse. Beautiful views from the cottage’s porch and balcony and close to hiking trails in the area. Only a 30 minute drive to Bruce National Park, the grotto at Cyprus Lake and Tobermory! Such a fabulous place & experience, we will definitely be back!

An enjoyable weekend was spent at this cottage. The well appointed kitchen is designed for serving up family meals, which can be enjoyed in the dining room, the breakfast bar or on the front deck. The deck itself gives a nice view of the beach area (less than a minute to the water) and picks up pleasant breezes in the evening. Those same breezes, with the windows open at night, leave things nice and cool for a good nights sleep. Adding to the charm are the various nautical touches about the place: the ship's bell beside the 100 year old phone, the real brass portholes in the backyard bunkie, the teak trim on the stairwell going upstairs. If Lion's Head appeals to you, this is certainly a place to be

The cottage is clean and well maintained. Spacious bedrooms. You can see the bay from the balcony which is just across the road. A trailer camp is across the street but still very quiet. Approximately 5 minutes walk to the beach. 5-10 minutes walk to the marina and lighthouse. Around 2 mins walk to the hospital. They have a spacious cabin outside the cottage where we slept. We had a pleasant bonfire experience infront of the cottage. Walking distance to the stores and restaurants. Owners are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. There's a local market and music entertainment too during Saturday morning by the beach.

We went in this cottage for 5days in July and had an amazing time & experience & relaxing in there .The cottage was clean & peaceful and with its beautiful scenery. It's really closer walking distance to the beach, grocery stores and lighthouse. Even hospital!
And also, that place was close with Tobermory & Grotto & beach areas
We had a lot of things to do in there..our kids are really loves that place
We're definitely visit to that place again!

I stayed in this cottage for one week in July and had an amazing experience. The cottage was well equipped, clean , peaceful and relaxing with its beautiful scenery. It is walking distance to beach, restaurants, grocery stores and lighthouse. There is an outdoor fireplace and a fire pit for a camp fire, my son enjoyed it a lot.
