(March 17, 2019, 3:47 am)If you want a local laid-back beach, its hard to beat Pinehurst! Fun for the kids, nice concession stand where they give large portions, places to play ball sports too. Park fairly close to the actual beach area. Connected by trail to the rv park (so I was told). If you're going to visit multi times you should spring for the family season pass.

(February 18, 2019, 7:51 pm)Good location for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in the winter time. Beautiful scenery, a nice wooded area. Very close to Kitchener (20 min drive) and one can be in the nature. I will definitely return many times with my family.

(December 8, 2018, 5:55 am)We always go to Pinehurst in the summer to swim. We live in Kitchener, and it's a perfect close place to hang out. It's quite busy on the weekends as you'd expect. During the week, it's great. We love the snack bar as well where we can get treats like chicken tenders and onion rings. Big trees around the grassy part of the lake provide a good shaded area.
