(December 7, 2022, 10:07 am)First time since it switched ownership and we weren’t impressed. My clams were mushy , my granddaughters chicken strips were burnt. It wasn’t because it was busy because we were the only ones there. Love that they do their own fries but leaving to long under hot fish and they were mushy. ! I’m sure their ironing the wrinkles out and we’ll go back again. One thing that’s awesome is the extended menus. I always found the menu so limited ! It’s great to see options. ! The staff were great. Top rate. It’s always hard staring out. Especially when u buy a restaurant during Covid.

(July 2, 2022, 10:00 pm)First time trying R&D Diner in Pictou since it switched from Sharon's Place. Not only did they still accept my gift card but I made out like a bandit on my two-piece fish and chips! 😝
Fries were hot and crispy, fish was excellent, slaw as well as the staff were awesome!
Name and owners may have changed, but still awesome food and atmosphere!👌🤘
