Verv Skin

I first started using Verv over a year ago when I found her table at a market in the Annapolis Valley. I have successfully switched over to her line for all of my skincare needs. Just smelling the exfoliating cleanser had me hooked. At the time I had terribly dry flakey cheeks from the weather that I couldn't get rid of. With ONE use it exfoliated my face and hydrated my skin, which ive never had for an exfoliating cleanser. Ali helped me choose the best option and educated me on why my coffee grind cleanser was too harsh for my skin compared to her rice powder. I now use the exfoliating balm every 3 days and alternate my cleansing grains and milky jelly. I love how the milky jelly melts off my makeup without being harsh on my eyes. I've never had products my face were so happy with being a sensitive combination dry/oily. Since adding the restorative face lotion to my routine, my face has been so balanced. Her sugar scrub is a must have in my shower, I use this all over my body, specifically before I shave or for date night 😉 Her whipped and regular lotions are divine, I could eat the Herbalist whipped it smells so good😍
The Mumbai chai bath fizzie is my favourite so far, I felt like I was soaking in a chai latte and I had the most soft skin for days after. Ali was kind enough to give me a sample of her eye serum (which lasted FOREVER) and was my most recent purchase. There is literally a product for everyone and Ali has always been available to answer my questions or provide suggestions. Her packaging is absolutely beautiful. Knowing that she's incorporates fresh grown from her garden and handles all of her products with care makes the decision to buy Verv that much easier. If you haven't taken the leap, please dive in!!! I have been absolutely addicted to Verv Skin since she first opened in the Annapolis Valley. I remember trying out some of the products at first with hesitation because my skin is so picky and I am so scent sensitive. Being drawn in by the most wonderful scents and the most nourishing products. I swear by the loofah soap for a nice gentle scrub while leaving my skin still feeling hydrated. I swapped my regular deodorant for Verv Skin and have been using for several years without worrying about smell or needing to re-apply in the summer heat. I find it pretty exciting that everything I use in my daily skin care is formulated and made just down the road from my house.

I am a HUGE fan. The Seda Silky Body Lotion and the beautiful bar soaps (Beekeeper is my fave!) are top-notch. None of these products would be out of place at an upscale spa - except they have the benefit of being natural, local and free of harmful ingredients or practices. Great experience ordering, too!
