Not only is it a good local choice, it's an amazing rum overall.
Basically it's the best integration of a molasses flavor in any rum I have ever had.
Had it on the rocks and let the ice melt slightly, no bite, all flavor.
What a great find!
The bottle and cork is a unique touch too. -

We stopped on our way out of Wolfville for the weekend and the host was knowledgable and helpful answering all questions we had. I'm not a huge fan of dark rum (prefer light) but their 5 Fathom Dark Rum was delicious. Definitely make a stop here if you're the area.
