(August 18, 2023, 9:31 pm)Wow, if only we could have stayed longer. Unfortunately, I only managed to grab one night that fits in our itinerary. So thankful to our host Danny to allow our two boys to stay in the same dome. The boys had so much fun sleeping along the edge of the dome. The dome provides a very camping sensation without sacrificing the hotel convenience. It’s absolutely a unique and enjoyable stay! Here is an interesting picture we snapped right at sunset at 8:34pm (the purple colour is from the neon light inside the dome).

(August 9, 2023, 6:12 pm)We were so excited to stay in dome #2 for a couple of nights! The views from the deck and dock are beautiful. It's a perfect place to relax as it is so calm and quiet. We loved swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the bay! Having air conditioning in the dome was wonderful and the kitchen is stocked with just the right amount of tools needed for a few light lunches and a bbq dinner. Danny and Lorna are great hosts, stopping to chat and to give recommendations for places to visit while on the island. Don't hesitate to stay here if you are looking for a restful and relaxing vacation spot!

(August 2, 2023, 1:50 am)My wife and I wanted a romantic getaway for the weekend. We were not disappointed with this beautiful spot. The geodome was beautiful, clean, and modern. It had everything that we needed for cooking, etc. The views from the front deck were simply stunning and would rival views anywhere in Cape Breton if not Canada. The owners were very friendly and helpful people and they took great pride in their property. We will definitely be back at the location again!

(July 12, 2023, 10:51 pm)We had such a wonderful two-night stay here in July 2023! Every little touch is thought about, down to a tiny herb garden box. The bed was so comfortable, and the view was incredible. There's fantastic hiking just about a 10 minute drive away, and the hosts were so accessible with any questions we had. Also I highly recommend the Red Shoe Pub for meals and music, super nearby. Couldn't have been better!

(July 8, 2023, 9:37 pm)From my first conversation with Danny to the moment we packed up and left our experience at the Northeast Cove Geodomes was nothing less than wonderful!
Before making the booking I spoke with the owner, Danny and he was pleasant and patient in answering all my questions and concerns. We had to check in pretty late in the evening but Danny made sure our arrival was as easy as possible..and comfortable.
The domes take glamping to a totally different level. All the comforts of home while staying as close to the outdoors as possible. Clean, simple and comfortable. Danny and Lorna's attention to detail in the decor make all the difference and that view from your bed is pretty unbeatable. As a host, Danny was always available and so accommodating.
We will definitely stay here if/when we come back to Cape Breton!
