We walked in at around 19:45 without booking a table, luckily we were still able to sit in as the kitchen took last order at 20:00.

The servers were super friendly. We ordered several dishes. Pork chop sandwich and the house-made pasta were our favorites! Though the pork chop was deep fried, it was not dry at all but super juicy. Mixed with their dressing, the sandwich worths a try!! The house-made pasta was al-dente and served in a spicy creamy sauce with kale.

Overall this restaurant is a highly recommended one!

The food and service are excellent. It's one of the very few restaurants that remain open outside of the tourist season in Cape Breton as well. But the absolute highlight of this restaurant is the sunset. You must come here to enjoy the view of the sunset! There are chairs outside as well so you can sit there and just enjoy the sun go down. Absolutely gorgeous.

The service was fast and friendly and the space is lovely - such a beautiful view!
The menu has something for everyone and we wanted to order everything! They even have a secret kids “menu” made aware to us by the server.
We went with lobster bao and kale Caesar to start and shared halibut and pork belly + scallop entrees. The lobster was a little rubbery and I think for $22 the amount of lobster was fair but only if it was perfectly cooked which it was not.
The kale salad was probably my favourite - tons of flavour and so perfectly balanced with the freshness of the kale.
Halibut was a little dry but the rest of the plating made up for it. The pork belly and scallop had a lot of flavour but was a little rich. The food just was not 5 stars for me but everything else was. Also they were out of oysters and mussels so that was a bummer.

Stopped here on our back from the Cabot trail and had the most amazing experience. The staff were very attentive, repeatedly filling our water after a day full of hiking. The food WAS AMAZING!! We eat out a lot and our dinner here was the best we have had in a while. The short ribs were cooked to perfection and the chowder was probably the best I have had in Nova Scotia. Also, AMAZING VIEW!! We watched the sunset over the ocean and they even moved us tables after another couple left so we had a better view. Just amazing!
