(March 6, 2019, 1:36 pm)Visit Long Pond about a mile or two away; it seems to be the AGREED birthplace of hockey. I suppose this is a nice enough little Museum but there's a lingering suspicion that Mr. Halliburton leveraged himself into a position of hockey historical significance that may be...dubious. He is I, I think, a documented plagiarist - that - accidentally let slip from our docent.

(August 13, 2018, 4:53 pm)Went to visit this museum excitedly on a Sunday drive with my mother only to be disappointed to find it closed on a Sunday afternoon. The website says it should be open on Sunday, and if any time it should be open, the middle of summer is definitely it. So they lose a point for that. I didn't get to see the actual hockey museum, but I did explore the grounds and see the Clifton Estate, Disc Golf Course. That was really fun to watch, as I had never seen it before, and had never even heard of it. There were many people playing it and the grounds of the museum/park were very lovely. Well worth visiting. I would just check to make sure they are actually open first.
