A nice camping park for the family. Fresh water beach, canteen, camping sites, walking trails and a day park. If you do a bit of scouting you can find yourself a super nice fairly private site to bunk down. As with all parks, during peak season you have a higher chance of getting noise (due to more people), but all in all its always a nice stay.

Went here for a swim. Can be a bit busy, but we had no problem finding our own little spot on the beach. The water is warm, pretty shallow but gradually deepens

Good place to swim , walk and spend time with family. Has facilities and Baywatch guards at most of the times. Public toilets and showers are available for use, sometimes it's not as clean as you hope for, but they get the job done. The beach is busy, at least in the sunny weekends. Water is clean and nice, it's also shallow for the little ones. The beach area is bigger than other lakes I have seen in NS. There is no enough seating areas.

Great camping park. We stayed in A loop. Our site was large with lots of privacy and shade. Water pressure in the shower was great. Typical concrete bathrooms with two showers per gender. Lots of water taps and the bathrooms/showers were centrally located. It was just a short walk to the beach which was beautiful. We were disappointed that there was no playground as the maps indicted that there was one (we found out it was very old and crappy and was taken down last year). There was a bunny hanging around the sites too. Super cute.

Great time at the beach. Be advised they have issued a warning that heavy equipment may be in site and convenience locations may be shut down especially on weekdays.

Life guards were on from 10 am to 6pm, beach was busy but not overly crowded. Water was cool but not freezing cold whatsoever.

Most visitors were friendly, just make sure not to take the back entrance by mistake as that is a scouts trail.

Plenty of shade, but the sand is full of rocks which aren't 100% smooth, yet they aren't sharp necessarily either.

All in all a good visit.
