(December 18, 2022, 2:34 pm)Open Tuesday to Friday from 11 am to 6 pm. I could go on about how great the food, value, and old school diner atmosphere is but I wouldn't do it justice. Just go, you won't be disappointed. Get the cheeseburger with onion rings and a milkshake to initiate yourself. Best club in the city and the fish and chips are great.

(October 31, 2022, 12:14 am)Great little dinner. I had the fish and chips. Batter on the fish was nice and crispy and fish was flaky. The fries were crispy and fluffy. Gravy was a nice add on too. The price was excellent at $8 for a 2 piece. I'm going back soon to try the bacon cheeseburger and fries.

Husband and Wife operating the business, giving it the mom and pop shop vibe, you know you're going to get the best food of your life. Prices were not what I expected and I believe it's because they don't have staff to pay, which makes your jaw drop when you see the generous plate for such a low price compared to other places. You grab a menu and write down your own order which helps them continue cooking orders to perfection. They praise everyone for the business and company, showing they genuinely care for the people. I can't wait for my next visit to try other things on the menu!

(May 11, 2022, 5:57 pm)Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was simple, delicious, and inexpensive. It was like stepping into the 70’s.
The owners had spectacular banter and were clearly a well oiled machine. The chicken club and the chicken fingers were QUALITY, and you better get yourself a milkshake cause they were amazing.
If you don’t know the deal you get a menu and write your own order on a slip of paper and bring it to them and bus your own table at the end of the meal. It was a really lovely experience and a Halifax MUST. -

(November 18, 2021, 7:16 pm)A classic old school diner. Burgers, fries, onion rings, club sandwiches, etc plus sundaes and milkshakes.
Prices are very low, like they forgot to raise them since the 1980s. I had a cheeseburger fries and rice pudding for $8.35 including tax. I asked the lady whether there was a mistake in the price and she said 'no'.
**UPDATE**
I've reduced my rating due to cleanliness issues (saw a mouse wandering around the dining room). I think the place needs a bit of a refresh honestly.
