(November 5, 2022, 2:04 pm)Great little market….I would consider it more like a flea-market opposed to a farmers market. A farmers market would mean actual farmers would be there selling their farm-to-table farm items. It’s more local vendors selling handmade goods, home cooked food, coffee and some businesses promoting their products. Either way it’s nice.

We loved the port as well and the face painting :) Food vendors were yummy and clean! We especially loved the bakery that had gluten free options :)
Just wish there were more fish vendors ;). Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to Halifax! -

(May 8, 2022, 3:26 pm)Worth visiting. Lots of variety of vendors from food, to pottery, to handmade artisan goods (candles, woodworking). We bought a nice matte finish mug from water dragon pottery.

(December 6, 2021, 1:25 am)so many vendors! an amazing place to shop for christmas gifts. i love this place because it really brings together everything local and so many cool artists. there’s coffee, sculptures, indian food, pierogis, breakfast foods, pastries, fresh produce, art, clothes, jewelry, soaps, mittens, candles, the list goes on! a very busy place and a wonderful atmosphere! very spacious. things here are usually pricey but for good reason. there’s also lots of tables to sit and eat your food at and chat with people around you. also a beautiful location - right on the water! and just a walk away from downtown. everyone here is so sweet and it’s impossible to not be in a good mood at the farmer’s market!

Some nice crafts, local produce and meats, fresh bread and international foods like curries and pirogies :) Nice outdoor walk out deck w a view of George’s island. Not as big as old market (about half the size) worth a visit on a Saturday morning.
