I would highly recommend Halifax Guitar Lessons to anyone who is looking for top notch instruction. Regardless of your skill level, age, learning style, or goals, Maurice and Sue are very skilled at quickly discovering how each student needs to be taught, and structuring the teaching accordingly (not "one size fits all" instruction). Their methods make sense, and are easy to understand. They are extremely patient and encouraging, and their flexible scheduling options make it easy to fit the lessons into a busy life. I can't recommend them enough!
Both Moe & Sue are great teachers
Owner/instructors Maurice & Sue are awesome - very positive personalities that keep students motivated to continue with lessons where quitting early is probably the norm. They teach group lessons to people of all ages and we always have fun, while learning at individual paces. In the last six months, I have learned many songs and feel my own progression coming along. Their flexible schedules makes this ideal for me, a 40+ year old working woman who has always had an interest in learning guitar, but never remembered to get around to it until this year. Definitely recommend!
