The Admiral Lake loop boasted exciting climbs and decents despite some overgrown brush in the southern portion of the loop. The lookoffs were amazing with views beyond 180 degrees wide and made every step to get there worth it. The Bayer Lake loop had some steep elevations but it's short distance and old mill lookoff made up for it (including a bald eagle). The gravel rail trail was an easy end to a long day on our feet.
It would have been nice if the bathrooms at the Musquodoboit Harbour parking lot were open when we were there.
