Jim found for us our little piece of paradise! We came to him with the crazy project to find a lot to build our dream cottage. Our wish list was long but he came through in no time! “I recently had the good fortune of having two bidders on my home. Among other things it gave me opportunity to experience the differences between some real estate agents. In this case it was dramatic.

One buyers agent, Jim Smardon, proved his worth for his client and me. It was a private sale, consequently no agent on my side. This can be problematic for agents because of the inexperience of the seller. Jim, in a VERY professional manner, handled all issues and at the end of the day, got the sale because of it.

It is important to note that Jim’s clients offer was not the better of the two. While not significantly different, but enough that objectively I should have gone with the other offer. To me, the way that Jim explained everything to me in an unbiased way and his very professional behaviour won the day.

By contrast, the other buyers agent was indignant, and seemingly only out for himself. Jim followed real estate process to the letter, he explained every form required and made sure everyone was clear. The other agent did absolutely none of what Jim did and I mean nothing.

So when it came to accepting the deal, Jim’s professionalism tipped the scale for me. If you want an agent who knows his stuff and does everything the way it should be done then Jim is your guy. I have complete confidence in recommending Jim as an excellent choice for buying or selling your home.

Lastly, I rarely write a review, it was how much Jim distinguished himself from the other agent that made me feel he should be recognized for his performance.
