My wife isn’t allowed close to them which means I cook a lot more now but worth every clean, smooth slice. Big shout out to Ken for getting my knives up to par to my standards (which are high)

He even custom sharpened the edge to be more in line with the specific tasks I use the axe for. Great service. Great price. Plan to take many more of of my blades, scissors and more garden tools.

(November 6, 2022, 11:02 pm)I had always taken our kitchen knives to be sharpened at the same place since 1995. A few years ago he retired and I tried three other outlets with mixed results. The last two weren’t bad but they never provided results comparable to my former service. The knives weren’t as sharp and lost their edge faster.
A few weeks back I tried Maritime Sharpening and will definitely return. Ken really knows what he is doing when it comes to sharpening knives. His results are excellent and his prices are quite reasonable. It doesn’t matter whether it is kitchen knives scissors or secateurs you will be pleased with the results. Vegetable prep especially dicing onions and garlic is no longer a chore. If you need any type of knife sharpened definitely try Ken at Maritime Sharpening.
