(October 4, 2023, 2:38 pm)Highly recommend visiting the Harbourview Inn in Smiths Cove, Nova Scotia. The owner and staff were wondeful and so friendly! The rooms were so cute, and the breakfast was amazing!
Irene will crack you up in the morning during breakfast, and will convert you to a breakfast lover if you aren't already. -

(September 18, 2023, 5:24 pm)What a fantastic last nite for our 1st trip to NS at the Harborview. We really lucked out & got a last minute cancellation online for Fri 9/8 & were we thrilled, only wished we could've stayed longer! The location is convenient to the Digby ferry, and the highway. The owner Greg is so friendly, welcoming, has a fantastic personality & sense of humor that I loved engaging with! The clean, refreshing pool overlooks the bay, the room was emmaculate, comfy, well stocked & quiet. The lobby area is so beautiful with lots of area travel pamphlets and an honor bar from the local brewery/ winery that seasonally hosts pizza/ brew nites at the brewery that Greg has info about at the front desk. I could go on & on about how wonderful this b& b is and cannot begin to emphasize how beautifully & smoothly they run this inn. Everything you want and why you stay in this type of lodging is here. Irene, the breakfast "hostess with the mostess" starts your morning off on such a positive note serving up the most delicious breakfast prepared by Greg's wife. It was truly like staying in their home. As the other very friendly guests departed they all went out of their way to express great gratitude for their wonderful stay, which is a sign of a great inn keeper and host. I highly recommend this inn and will most definitely stay here when we travel to the area again.

(June 30, 2023, 5:05 pm)I highly recommend the Harbourview Inn to anyone staying in Digby! It's a wonderful bead and breakfast with beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations. Greg and Belinda are absolutely lovely and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay.
