(June 10, 2021, 7:09 pm)Excellent meal. Deep fried clams were tender and the coating was light and crispy, like tempura. Very tasty. Pan fried scallops sautéed to perfection, tender and delicious. Accompanying French fries were cooked to a golden brown, crispy and flavourful. Sides coleslaw and fresh homemade biscuits. Good sized portions. Worth the stop. We will be back for more delicious food.

(May 31, 2021, 10:26 pm)The Sandpiper restaurant is a great place to get good food. There is no indoor dining, they have take-out only. This does not affect the quality of the meals, just the interaction with the employees, which makes the dining experience that more pleasurable.

(May 23, 2021, 5:29 am)An Absolute Must stop on the Sunrise Trial. Meals are all fantastic, staff is extraordinary. If you are visiting and want to experience "where the locals eat", go to the Sandpiper. Pro tip: call ahead for a reservation, this place fills up fast most summer days.

(September 6, 2020, 4:57 pm)Always love the Sandpiper, been eating here for well over a decade and it's always so good! Today was our first visit since last fall, and had another great experience despite covid-19. The Sandpiper is currently take out only, but has a lot of outdoor seating set up for guests. We were able to eat on the deck, looking at the water view - staff brought our meal to us, and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We noticed that the fries have changed, and we loved them! We will be back soon :)
