Not much to do, but there's a neat falls, only a short hike from the parking lot

Nice, quiet place! There's no one here but us! Easy for the kids to get in and out of the water. I love the idea that there is steps to get down to the swimming hole!

Beautiful little spot that is fairly easy to get to thanks to the community installing stairs down the steep descent. They take you near the falls, but you have to scale a rock to get right to them. With the snow and high water level today, I could only peak around the rock to see the falls. They also put an outhouse and picnic tables in the area. I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer when I can go right in the water and walk to the front of the falls. Definitely bringing a picnic too! ????

This is a nice little park with a nice small waterfalls as its main attraction. It isn't very well known and wasn't even on Google maps until I just added it.
The falls is on the Pembroke river.
They have a couple picnic tables and washroom facilities.
To get down to the waterfall you have to go down a long set of steps. Something like 88 stairs!
Down by the falls is a beautiful place to swim and some rocks to dive off of .
To get there takes about one and a half hours from Halifax.
