(December 9, 2018, 1:19 pm)I've been going to Levy's Tree Farm since I was little with my family. My boyfriend and I just recently bought a house and were so excited to buy a real tree this year! I made sure to continue on the tradition by going to Levy's U-Cut and so happy that we did. We had a little snowfall the day before so it was absolutely picturesque. Blue skies, snow in the trees, bit chilly so dress warm! They have their own measuring pole and hacksaw for you to borrow. Once you've cut down your own tree, they help tie it up for you. $20 for a tree less than 8ft tall. $25 for anything greater than 8ft. Don't forget to stop into the cabin for some hot chocolate and hot dogs (by donation). They always have a nice warm fire crackling for you!

(December 8, 2018, 6:11 pm)We picked out a perfect tree today. They had saws to loan and measuring sticks (boy can the tree size be deceiving when you're out in the forest!). The path was very muddy today but that was due to all the rain. After carrying our tree back and paying for it ($20 for under 8 foot and $25 for 8 feet and over), they wrapped it in twine to make it easilc CVer to transport. We finished up our family adventure with hot chocolate, hotdogs, and home baked beans, which were all by donation only. A lovely spot that we hope to return to each year!
Edit Dec 2018: You can also go weekdays to cut a tree but the cottage won't be open, so they won't be serving food. You can pay for your tree using the honour system by pinning an envelope with the money, pinned to the cottage door. -
