(October 10, 2022, 3:27 pm)After many hours on our bicycles, we were welcomed to this amazing campground. To ensure they were accepting tents and bicyclists in mid September, I called from the side of the road before climbing the driveway. Steve was enthused to host our tired crew! He offered us three spots to pitch our tents: near the bear cache, near the outdoor shower or by the ridge to watch the sunrise.
We would have loved to stay more than 12 hours but the weather pushed us prematurely forward on our journey. The amenities we used were clean and convenient: running water, chairs to lounge in and a bear cache to not attract unwanted attention. Steve and Anne shared their knowledge of the area and took notes on how to improve their offerings.
If you are travelling by bicycle in Arisaig, you do NOT want to miss this spot! The views are breathtaking! The location is ideal (there's a convenience store 15km away, a distillery next door), and the hospitality is unmatched! -

(September 22, 2022, 11:43 pm)I stopped there for the night while touring on my bicycle, and the owners, Steve and Anne, made me feel instantly welcome. They are really warm people and very accomodating, they made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable. Both the outhouse and the outdoor shower are very well designed and great to use, the campground opened quite recently and they are working on making even more improvements!

(September 8, 2022, 3:38 pm)We were so fortunate to win a free night at Willies Cabin. It was just what we needed as a transition from a month of hosting visiting family- something to take the sting out of everyone leaving us for their homes.
The cottage is just as charming as the photos show and everything we needed was provided. As promised , the bed is very comfortable, but the best part was sitting on the front porch watching the sunset.
We also enjoyed the trails on the property and the Arisaig Provincial Park nearby.
A house is only a home when there is love, and the generosity and hospitality Stephen and Ann exhibit makes the cottage a welcome respite. Thank you for everything! -

(September 1, 2022, 12:27 am)I was passing through the area on my motorcycle and decided to stop here for the night to tent. I was pleasantly surprised at how small and quiet the campground is. It’s not your typical large RV park/campground, which is a nice change. The owners, Steve and Anne, are very welcoming and ready to help in any way that they can to ensure a pleasant stay. You can see the ocean from the top of the hill and are only a few minutes from the beach and provincial park. I’ll definitely be coming back for a visit and to explore the area more. Thank you Anne and Steve for the fabulous hospitality!

(August 23, 2022, 10:44 pm)I spent a wonderful weekend in the Willie Alex tent cabin. You have everything you need. The bed is so comfortable. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, Glory Ridge Campground is for you.
