(May 16, 2023, 2:58 am)1st visit today, ordered right away, food was ready in 10 mins, and we were off with our takeout. The wifey had the 2 piece pan fried haddock with a substitute ceasar salad. The fish was amazing and practically melted in your mouth, salad was great as well for a $1.50 upcharge instead of fries, very reasonable!!
I had the large scallops with homecut fries, came with 12 good size scallops. We'll be back to try something else. A small patio seating area would be nice for those that want to bring their doggies along with them, doesnt need service, just an area for customers to sit after they order. -

(April 5, 2023, 3:35 pm)Ebb Tide Cafe is a new local spot that opened up. You can't beat the price to food value! I've had both the haddi bits and the piece of haddock and both were excellent. My partner enjoys the mushroom burger (his favourite) but the hot turkey supper was great as well! The onion rings are quite good!

I have to say they have one of the best Cole slaws.
Had the Tide burger, with hand cut fries.
Burger was delicious, fries were pretty good.
Partner had the beef mushroom burger, said it was fantastic.
Only thing I could nit-pick is the tiny slivers of fries. I like decent sized fries. ( larger than 1.5 inch long)
Overall, this place is really good now that they have settled into a rhythm.
5 stars is well deserved. -

(March 19, 2023, 12:37 pm)Located in the Village of Lawrencetown in the Annapolis Valley, this bright and cheery diner is one of the more recent dining options in the Valley. I opted for breakfast here a few weeks ago and was not disappointed. Lots of breakfast options are available. I chose the regular-size breakfast at just shy of ten dollars. You can see from the photo, it was a generous portion!
Included on my plate were generous portions of bacon, home fries [not greasy], whole wheat toast, and an omelette with mushrooms, onion and feta cheese. Overall, it was a great-tasting breakfast. Next time, I will ask for a bit more feta cheese. The coffee was extra, and I was offered a refill.
The service was quick and friendly, and on-street parking is plentiful. I'll be back again. -

(March 16, 2023, 5:30 pm)Diner type restaurant offering the usual favorites. We enjoyed the fresh fish and home cut fries. We visited mid afternoon, after the noon rush. Lots of seating. Place was clean and freshly painted. Street parking out front.
