Visited for the first time with friends who had come a couple years ago and loved it. The sites are smaller and closer together than we are used to at provincial campgrounds, but as we were with two other families we essentially shared the 3 sites. Even though your neighbours are close there was very little noise, everyone was very respectful and as it’s a kid-friendly campground I think most families turn in early. Pool was beautiful, the activities were great for the kids, and the beach down the road was fun to explore. Very little cell service in the area in general (I personally have no problem with this when camping!) but wifi was available by the canteen if needed. Hosts were lovely and friendly and obviously love their work! Will definitely be back!

Went there camping. The campgrounds are huge and they deliver big bundles of wood to your site. They have fireworks on Saturdays :)

This is a lovely spot, but it is definitely geared towards seasonal campers. We stayed for 6 nights, using it as a base to explore the Annapolis Valley.

The "serviced" site we booked for our tent trailer had broken water and electrical outlets and no sewage hookup. Elaine & Jim were wonderful hosts and very happy to accommodate with extension cords/hoses, but I think our site was otherwise used as parking for the seasonal RV's most of the time. The picnic table and firepit were rolled into the brush (not recently). The space was barely wide enough for the trailer and its canopy; in hindsight, they probably would have been fine with us spreading out lengthwise, but we didn't realize how unused these transient sites were.

The shared washrooms were clean and never busy (again, because most campers had their own). The showers weren't stable in temperature or pressure, but at least they weren't coin operated. The heated pool was lovely, and there's a wharf at the end of the road where you can catch some beautiful sunsets (though watch for wharf traffic zooming through the park in the early mornings). There are a couple of washer and dryers accessed via the main store/office, which also offers a small selection of supplies.

Overall, very friendly and affordable; just make sure you get the connections and space you need.
